I wonder why all people just remind his music now but not the many court trails about child abuse? I guess it’s once again from the death nothing then good.

The man had talent that’s for sure. His music writing talent and dance moves are iconic and he will be forever remembered for that. Unfortunately, his life was a circus and he had so many problems. Hopefully he can finally rest in peace. Imagine the great music that will be playing through the heavens…Jimi Hendrix, Janis Joplin, John Lennon, Elvis, and Michael Jackson.

Nikki – I use that word all the time – whether it’s an official word or not!

Squilla – LOL That’s exactly what I was thinking.

Indigo – A good friend of mine said something similar to me. She said that she couldn’t understand why the black community was so adamant about embracing him when he worked so hard to distance himself from them.

Rubi – I think he had a lot of issues – loneliness among them. It seems his childhood was a sad one that followed him into adulthood.

Tony – I had that one album. I’m not a fan, but I certainly recognize the man’s talent. Man, could he dance!

He became a sad, lonely, very ugly young man, and I kinda feel sorry for him. If maybe at some time he could of finally stood on his own two feet, rather that allowing so many others to tell him what to do, he might have been better off.
Not sorry to say this….but way,way, too much ridiculous plastic surgery. Shoulda left well enough alone!

How could anyone know he was black? He sure didn’t want to be black himself. Look what he did to himself. So anyone that didn’t know much about him or his history (I watched him live on tv with the J5) wouldn’t be able to tell that he once was black.
He erased all of his own “blackness” himself, as if he was ashamed of it.
I am color blind but not blind to some one that is ashamed of their own heritage.

I hope that someday that would be a common thought…. “I had no idea he was black” or white or yellow or purple. Yay for cluelessness (is that a word? it is now).
